codex
Approves the project's Codex hooks in ~/.codex/config.toml. Codex loads nothing from the repo (not even AGENTS.md) until the project is trusted.
Usage
navori codex trust [--yes] [--cwd <dir>]
Flags
--yes Approve without a confirmation prompt (non-interactive use). --cwd <dir> Repo directory. Default: cwd. Examples
Approve
$ navori codex trust
Codex hooks — /repo
.
⇡ PreToolUse (^Bash$) — guard-destructive [Untrusted]
? Approve these hooks in ~/.codex/config.toml? Yes
✓ Written. Previous backup: ~/.navori/backups/codex-config-...
Notes
- Shows the hook table (event, matcher, status) and asks for confirmation before writing; no TTY needs --yes.
- Backs up ~/.codex/config.toml before editing it and validates the result as TOML before writing; aborts without writing if the file changed since the confirmation was shown.
- Covers the root and every monorepo workspace with the 'codex' engine enabled. 'navori doctor' detects, without writing, when this is still needed.
- If CODEX_HOME is set, it uses $CODEX_HOME/config.toml instead of ~/.codex/config.toml; a relative value is rejected.
