gate
Runs the project's quality gate with the full output in a log and only a compact verdict on stdout.
Usage
navori gate <fast|full|foreign> [--cwd <path>]
Flags
<fast|full> Which gate to run: qualityGate.fast or qualityGate.full from navori.config.json, verbatim. foreign Called by the quality-gate hook when a commit lands in another repo: runs that repo's qualityGate.fast only if you registered it (navori workspace link), the chain is plain and it does not use nativeHooks. Exits 64 with no sentinel when not eligible. --cwd <path> Project root; defaults to the current directory. Examples
Run the full gate
$ navori gate full navori gate full: exit 0 — log .navori/state/gate/full-20261008T191709Z.log
Notes
- The first stdout line is always the sentinel 'navori gate <kind>: exit <N> — log <path>'. No sentinel means the gate did not run: run the literal command.
- The full output goes to .navori/state/gate/<kind>-<ts>.log. Green prints a short summary (under 2 KB); red prints the error excerpt and the tail, capped.
- The exit code is the gate chain's. It exits 2 without running anything when the configured gate no longer passes the safety check that earns its exact permission.
- It forwards SIGINT/SIGTERM to the child processes and writes a 'killed' sentinel.
- foreign keeps its log in a private temp directory (never in the destination repo) and retains only the newest ones.
